Senior Clinical Perfusion Scientist, Harefield Hospital
Bradley was chosen to become a college council member in January 2019.
Bradley specialises in all aspects of adult clinical perfusion. He is currently the ECMO lead for the Harefield Perfusion Department having a particular interest in ECMO training and high fidelity simulation. He has presented at the Association for Simulated Practice in Healthcare conference (ASPiH) in 2015 and the Perfusion Annual General Meeting in 2016, 2017 and 2018 covering topics of ECMO simulation and ECMO re-positioning practice. He is also a co-author in submitted research posters related to the Harefield ECMO experience at ASPiH (2014), the Intensive Care Society: State of the Art conference (2016) and ELSO (2018).
Bradley graduated from Lancaster University in 2008 and began his Perfusion training at Harefield Hospital. He gained accreditation with the Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland in 2010. Bradley completed his Perfusion Science MSc on ‘A single centre audit reviewing the use of mannitol as an additive to the cardiopulmonary bypass prime, in relation to its’ effect upon patients’ renal function during the post-operative period’.
