Graham Cooper MD FRCS(C/Th) qualified from Leeds University and trained in Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, London and Paris. He was a consultant cardiac surgeon at Sheffield between 1996 and 2022 with a special interest in surgery of the thoracic aorta.

He is a past President of the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery in UK & Ireland, National Clinical Advisor for Aortic Dissection to NHS England and a trustee of The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust.
